Washington violates PrivateShield contract

Privacy Shield Framework

At the end of Obama's legislation period, the NSA and other US agencies were granted the right to share and access foreign data before applying any data protection as agreed upon with the European Union in the Privacy Shield contract. This is reported by the New York Times, and equals the suspension of the legal framework of this data-sharing pact.

Even though some time has already passed, an reaction from Brussels is still outstanding. If this allegation is true, this contract violation would require that the Privacy Shield gets immediately suspended by the EU, without any hesitation.
